Puffins are one of the most amazing creatures on Earth. With Puffin Cam you can watch live streaming video of Atlantic Puffins. There are two high definition cameras that give live streaming 24 hours a day all showing clown-like Atlantic puffins waddling, preening and nesting on a remote Maine island. The one camera shows the seabirds on the island's rocky ledges and the other is underground, inside a burrow showing a puffin in her nesting site.
The Audubon Society and explore.org have joined to stream video from Seal Island National Wildlife Refuge. The island has the largest puffin colony in the US.
The purpose of Puffin Cam is to keep the public and spur interest in seabird restoration.
