About Hromadske
Hromadske is an independent Ukrainian media organisation registered as a non-governmental organisation. It was announced in June 2013 by a group of fifteen journalists and began operating on 22 November 2013, gaining wide attention for its coverage of the Euromaidan protests. Originally run as an online television station, it now works primarily as an online news outlet, publishing reporting, investigations, explainers, interviews and video in Ukrainian on its website hromadske.ua and on its YouTube channel.
It focuses on politics, social issues, human rights and the war in Ukraine, with an emphasis on independent public-interest journalism. There is no continuous live television channel; video content and occasional live streams are available through the official website and YouTube channel.
