TVOPEDIA aims to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. The site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA, as required by the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations and Israeli Standard IS 5568.
What we have done
- All pages can be used with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Text and buttons meet colour-contrast requirements.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labelled forms (search, reports).
- Tabs and the world map can be operated with the keyboard (arrow keys).
- The layout adapts to mobile phones and to browser zoom up to 200%.
- An accessibility menu (bottom corner of every page) lets you enlarge text, increase contrast, highlight links and more.
Third-party content
Live players and the websites we link to are operated by the broadcasters themselves. We cannot guarantee their accessibility, but we are happy to help you find an alternative way to watch a channel.
