TVOPEDIA respects copyright. This copyright and DMCA policy explains how our directory works and how to contact us if you believe a listing affects your rights.
We do not host or stream content
TVOPEDIA is a directory. We do not host, upload, record or re-broadcast any video. Each channel page links to the broadcaster’s official live page. When a broadcaster offers an official embeddable stream (for example a live stream on its own YouTube channel), we may show that official player. The video is served by the broadcaster or the platform it chose, not by us. You can read more on our about page.
If you are the rights holder and simply want a listing changed or removed, the quickest route is our listing removal process.
How to send a copyright notice
If you believe material linked or embedded on TVOPEDIA infringes your copyright, email [email protected]. Following the elements set out in 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), your notice should include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
- A description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- The exact TVOPEDIA page URL where the material appears, so we can find it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
When we receive a complete notice, we review it and remove or disable access to the listing or player concerned where appropriate. Because the video itself is hosted by a third party, you may also need to contact that platform directly.
Counter-notice
If a listing you are responsible for was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. Please include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The URL of the listing that was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.
We may share the counter-notice with the person who sent the original notice and may restore the listing if it is supported by an official source.
