TVOPEDIA is a free, English-language directory of live TV channels from around the world. It lists about 540 channels from more than 90 countries and points you to the place where each broadcaster streams its own channel online. This page explains what TVOPEDIA is, how we work and how to reach us.
What TVOPEDIA is
Each channel on TVOPEDIA has its own page with a short description and a link to the broadcaster’s official live page. When a broadcaster offers an official stream that can be embedded, usually a 24/7 live stream on its own YouTube channel, we show that official player on the channel page so you can watch it there. We do not host, record or re-broadcast any video.
You can browse channels by country (with separate pages for US states), by category such as live news channels, or by language. The home page also shows channels from your country, the channels people are watching most right now, and a world map.
A legal-first approach
We only list sources that the broadcaster itself publishes. That means two things:
- Official links: every channel links to the broadcaster’s own website or official live page.
- Official embeds only: a player appears on TVOPEDIA only when the broadcaster offers an official embeddable stream. If there is no official embed, we link out instead.
We do not list pirated streams, restreams or unofficial copies of channels.
How channels are chosen and reviewed
A channel is added when it has a free live stream published by its owner. We check the source against the broadcaster’s official website or its verified channel before listing it.
Live streams change often: broadcasters move their players, end streams or restrict them by country. To keep listings useful, we run periodic checks on the links and players in the directory and update or remove channels that no longer work. Visitors help too: every channel page has a short form to report a broken link, and we review those reports.

Who we are
TVOPEDIA is a small, independent project based in Israel. There are no user accounts, comments or newsletters. The site is free to use and will be supported by advertising.
