These terms of service apply to your use of tvopedia.com (“TVOPEDIA”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What TVOPEDIA provides
TVOPEDIA is a free directory of live TV channels. For each channel we provide a short description and a link to the broadcaster’s official live page. Where a broadcaster offers an official embeddable stream, we may show that official player. We do not host, record or re-broadcast any video. More about how we work is on our about page.
No accounts
You do not need an account to use TVOPEDIA, and we do not offer one. Features such as My channels store information only in your own browser. How this works is explained in our privacy policy.
Third-party content and players
All channels, programs, logos, names and streams belong to their broadcasters or other rights holders. Embedded players are provided and controlled by the broadcaster or by the platform it uses (such as YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo or Twitch). Your use of those players and of the broadcasters’ websites is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of any stream or program.
Availability
We do not control whether a stream is online. Broadcasters may change or end streams, limit viewing to certain countries, or interrupt programs at any time. We check listings periodically and welcome reports, but we cannot guarantee that any channel will be available, will play in your country or will be listed on the site at any given time. We may add, change or remove listings and features without notice.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Channel descriptions and details are provided for general information and may contain errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TVOPEDIA and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or use, arising from your use of the site, any third-party site or player, or any interruption of a stream. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Acceptable use
When using TVOPEDIA, you agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe the rights of broadcasters or others.
- Try to bypass geographic or other restrictions that broadcasters place on their streams through our site.
- Interfere with the site’s operation, security or servers, or attempt to access parts of it that are not public.
- Send false or abusive broken-link reports, or try to manipulate the view counter.
- Scrape or copy large parts of the directory by automated means without our permission.
Links to third-party sites
TVOPEDIA links to websites run by broadcasters and other third parties. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, advertising or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
Advertising
The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for advertised products or services. See our cookie statement for details on advertising cookies.
Copyright complaints
If you believe a listing infringes your rights, please follow our copyright and DMCA policy or ask us to change or remove a listing.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute relating to the site or these terms will be subject to the competent courts in Israel, unless mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
