About atv
atv is a national free-to-air television channel in Turkey. It is based in Istanbul and owned by Turkuvaz Media Group, which is part of Kalyon Group. It went on air in 1993 as one of the country's early private broadcasters. The channel shows Turkish drama series, news bulletins, talk and magazine programs, game shows and some sports, all in Turkish.
Its current logo has been in use since 2010. Viewers can watch the channel live for free on the official atv.com.tr live page. atv also runs a continuous live simulcast on its official YouTube channel, and TVOPEDIA embeds that stream on this page. Some programs may be unavailable outside Turkey because of rights restrictions.
