About Andorra Televisió
Andorra Televisió, known as ATV, is the public television channel of the Principality of Andorra, operated by the national broadcaster Ràdio i Televisió d'Andorra (RTVA). It began regular broadcasts in December 1995, after earlier being known as Televisió d'Andorra, and is based in Andorra la Vella.
The channel broadcasts in Catalan and focuses on Andorran life, with local news bulletins, current affairs, parliamentary and institutional coverage, culture, sport and programmes about the country's parishes and traditions. Its news and programmes are published on AndorraDifusió, the RTVA web portal, which also offers live and on-demand content for ATV and Ràdio Nacional d'Andorra. The channel is the main source of television news produced in Andorra itself.
