About Channels Television
Channels Television is a privately owned Nigerian news channel headquartered in Lagos, founded by John Momoh and his wife Sola Momoh and on air since 1995. It was among the independent stations that emerged after Nigeria deregulated broadcasting in the early 1990s and has become one of the country's best known news brands, with bureaus in Abuja and other cities.
The channel broadcasts in English and focuses on national and international news, politics, business, sport and current affairs, with programmes such as Sunrise Daily and Politics Today, and coverage of elections and major events. Channels Television streams its broadcast live on its official YouTube channel, and the live page on its website links to that stream, so viewers can watch free online.
