About ČT2
ČT2 is the second channel of Česká televize, the Czech public broadcaster. It focuses on documentaries, nature and science programmes, history, travel, classic and international films, quality foreign series and minority-interest programming, complementing the more mainstream schedule of ČT1. Programmes are in Czech, with some foreign productions shown in their original language with subtitles.
The channel is broadcast free-to-air on digital terrestrial television in the Czech Republic. It can be watched live for free on the official Česká televize website and in the iVysílání app, although some films and acquired programmes are available online only within the Czech Republic due to licensing.
