About NBS Television
NBS Television is a privately owned Ugandan television station based at Next Media Park in Naguru, Kampala. It is the flagship of the Next Media group led by Kin Kariisa and began broadcasting in June 2008. NBS is best known for news and current affairs, calling itself "Uganda's Political Command Centre", and also airs talk shows, entertainment and sports.
Programming is mainly in English, with several flagship programmes in Luganda. Surveys have ranked it among the most watched stations in Uganda. The official website, nbs.ug, carries news, programme information and video, but no live player was found there during this review. Clips and programmes are published on the station's YouTube presence, and the channel is available on Ugandan free-to-air and pay-TV platforms.
