About QVC Japan
QVC Japan is a 24-hour television shopping channel operated by QVC Japan, Inc., a joint venture between QVC and Japanese trading company Mitsui & Co. The company is headquartered in the Makuhari area of Mihama-ku, Chiba City, and runs its product distribution centre in Sakura, Chiba. It began operating in April 2001 and introduced round-the-clock live broadcasts in 2004.
Programmes present fashion, beauty, jewellery, kitchen, home and health products, with presenters and guests demonstrating items that viewers can order by phone or online. Broadcasts are in Japanese. The channel can be watched live for free on the QVC Japan website and on the official QVC Japan YouTube channel, which carries a continuous live simulcast of the TV feed.
