About Saudi Quran TV
Saudi Quran TV, known in Arabic as Qanat Al Quran Al Kareem, is a state religious television channel run by the Saudi Broadcasting Authority. It broadcasts continuously from the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, showing the Kaaba and the mosque around the clock, including the five daily prayers, Friday sermons, Taraweeh prayers in Ramadan and recitations by the imams of the Grand Mosque.
Between prayers the channel carries Quran recitation and related religious content. Audio and on-screen text are in Arabic. Its sister channel, Saudi Sunnah TV, does the same from the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. The live picture from Makkah is followed by Muslims worldwide, especially during Ramadan and the Hajj season. The official way to watch online is the channel's verified YouTube account, which runs a continuous, embeddable live stream.
