About Televisión de Galicia (TVG)
Televisión de Galicia (TVG) is the main television channel of the Corporación Radio e Televisión de Galicia (CRTVG), the public broadcaster of the autonomous community of Galicia in north-western Spain. It first went on air in July 1985 and broadcasts mainly in Galician.
The schedule includes the Telexornal news bulletins, regional current affairs, entertainment and music shows, Galician drama series, documentaries, children's programmes and sports, with strong coverage of Galician football and local events. CRTVG now promotes its digital services under the AGalega brand, and the live TVG feed is available free on the agalega.gal website and the AGalega app, alongside its sister channel TVG2 and the corporation's radio stations. Some content may be geo-restricted because of rights.
