About Bloomberg Television
Bloomberg Television, branded on air simply as Bloomberg, is a business and financial news channel owned by Bloomberg L.P. and headquartered in New York City, with regional hubs in London, Hong Kong and Singapore. It began in the United States in 1994 as Bloomberg Direct, became Bloomberg Information TV a year later and adopted its current name in 1997.
The US feed focuses on markets, companies, economics and policy, with live coverage through the trading day, interviews with executives and investors, and international programming from Bloomberg's Asian and European teams. It broadcasts in English.
