About TVM
TVM, or Television Malta, is the main channel of Public Broadcasting Services (PBS), Malta's national public broadcaster. Its history goes back to the island's first television service, which began in 1962, and it later operated as Xandir Malta before taking its current name.
TVM is a general channel in Maltese with news bulletins, current affairs, entertainment, quiz and magazine shows, drama, children's programmes and coverage of national events. PBS also runs the sister channels TVM News+, TVM Sport+ and Parliament TV. All PBS channels can be watched live free of charge on the official TVMi streaming platform, which also hosts on-demand programmes, and on the TVMi apps. TVM is the most watched television station in Malta.
