If you watch the same few channels again and again, you can save your favorite channels on TVOPEDIA so they are always one click away. It takes a second and needs no account or sign-up.
How to save your favorite channels
- Open the page of any channel, for example from the list of all channels.
- Click or tap the heart (Save) button on the channel page.
- The heart fills in to show the channel is saved.
To remove a channel, click the heart again on its page. You can save as many channels as you like, from any country, category or language.
Find your list in My channels
Saved channels appear in the My channels row on the home page. Click any of them to go straight to the channel page. The row only appears once you have saved at least one channel.
Where your list is stored
My channels is kept only in your own browser, using your browser’s local storage. Nothing is sent to an account or saved on TVOPEDIA’s servers. This has a few consequences worth knowing:
- No sign-in needed. There are no user accounts on TVOPEDIA.
- Not synced across devices. Your phone, tablet and computer each keep a separate list. The same goes for different browsers on the same computer.
- Clearing site data clears the list. If you clear your browser’s cookies and site data, or use a private window, saved channels are removed or not kept.
If you rely on a long list, it helps to avoid clearing data for tvopedia.com when you tidy up your browser. If you use more than one device, simply save your main channels on each of them.
Tips for building a useful list
- Save a mix of channels from your home country and the ones you follow abroad, so the home page becomes your personal TV guide.
- Browse by country or language to find new channels worth adding.
- If a saved channel stops working, use the report form on its page so the link can be checked.
