About Globovisión
Globovisión is a Venezuelan television news channel based in Caracas. It went on air on 1 December 1994 as the country's first all-news broadcaster and was long known for its critical coverage of the government. In 2013 the channel was sold to new owners, after which its editorial line became noticeably less confrontational. Today it broadcasts news bulletins, live reports, interviews, political and economic talk shows and some sports and entertainment segments, all in Spanish.
The channel is available over the air in Caracas and other cities, on digital terrestrial television and on cable and satellite services in Venezuela. Viewers can watch the official live signal directly on the Globovisión website, which embeds the broadcaster's own YouTube live stream, and the same stream can be followed on YouTube.
